HDD Water Use Analysis & Drilling Fluid Volume Estimator

Sourcing and disposing of drilling fluid is often the practical bottleneck on an HDD job, especially in remote or permitted areas. This calculator estimates the total water and drilling-fluid volume required across the pilot hole and each reaming pass from the borehole geometry, soil type, and how efficiently the mud can be recycled.

The result feeds water-sourcing agreements, mud-plant sizing, and the volume assumptions in a frac-out / disposal plan.
